Jigsaw Affiliate Program – Recommend and Earn
At Jigsaw, around 30% of our customers join us based on the recommendation of an existing user. We think it’s a must that you are rewarded for this, and our thoughts on that are in this blog post. We also have a ‘refer-a-friend’ program, which isn’t as rewarding and is a little clunky, this is being phased out and we have made the affiliate site really easy to use, so that can be used in it’s place. If you don’t understand the potential impact of GDPR regulations on cookies used in affiliate tracking – take a look at this blog post.
Here’s how the 3 options work:
Cookie Based – no discount for the customer – you get $30 extra – but the tracking is 100% cookie based.
Refer a Friend – this is also coupon based – and we are phasing it out.
We think the first option is best because it let’s you give a discount and guarantees you get credit for the sale.
We have only one requirement for you to become an affiliate – that you are a daytrdadr owner/user. We don’t think it’s in anyones interest to have people recommending a product they don’t use – although we are open to exceptions. A brokerage for example would be an exception to that rule, in these cases, we generally have a chat to kick off the relationship. So feel free to get in touch if you want to discuss your situation.
To get set up as an affiliate takes a few minutes – just follow the instructions here.

Affiliates used to be mostly website owners but now they come from websites, YouTube channels, Discord, Facebook, Instagram etc. in each case, the audience is given a set of information about the product and a link/coupon. The ability to do that varies by Social Media platform. We provide you with affiliate links for a number of different pages. You should try choose one based on the information they have from you and any information you feel they might need from us to complete the picture.
Whether you are a business, website owner, YouTube channel, Discord room boss – consider where to send them carefully.
This would normally be based on how much info you have already given them. If you’ve told them what the product does – send them to the purchase page. If you told them only a little, send them to one of the pages that has the information they need to confirm their decision.
Instead of sending them the full link – use a URL shortener like https://bitly.com/ and give them that link – this also prevents the removal of tracking information.
Presume people will know you are getting a commission for the recommendation. I know for many, it feels wrong to be paid to recommend something. People hate selling, yet they love buying stuff. Some people won’t like it – but they will like it less if they find out after you denied it. Purchasing decisions, especially in an industry like ours are tough – there are so many scams. The value you bring to the customer is you help them make a safer decision and you are putting your reputation behind the recommendation. People will ask the question – so have your answers ready for when they do!
